Alumni Legacy Scholarship Application

The Alumni Legacy Scholarship is available to both new and continuing students who are the children or grandchildren of Saint Mary’s College alumni. The scholarship amount for the fall 2016 year is $10,500 and is annually renewable for up to four years of consecutive full time study, contingent upon satisfactory academic progress. 

Following initial review a select number of students will be invited to participate in on campus interviews during the College’s upcoming Scholarship Saturday program February 20.  You will be notified by Wednesday, February 3rd if you have been selected for an interview spot.

Recipients of the Alumni Legacy Scholarship must be either the children or grandchildren of Saint Mary's alumni, or the nieces or nephews of Saint Mary's graduates who are Catholic clergy.

In addition to completing this online form applicants must answer the following essay prompt below in 500 words or less and email response to Erik Coloma ’09, Assistant Director of Admissions at ejc1@stmarys-ca.edu. 

Essay Prompt:
How would you actively support Saint Mary’s College and its Lasallian mission as a Saint Mary’s College student and later as a graduate?

The deadline for submission of application and essay will be Friday, January 29^, 2016 by 4:30 p.m. P.S.T. 

We will no longer be taking submissions for the alumni legacy scholarship.
