Joyce Lee


Professional Overview: 

Joyce Lee is an alumna and scholarship recipient of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM), where she received both her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Violin Performance. She is an avid chamber musician and enjoys collaborating with other musicians on stage, at public venues, fundraisers, house concerts, and at events such as weddings, luncheons and art exhibits. She has played for thousands of events, including the wedding of George Lucas and Mellody Hobson, the memorial service for Alfred Peet of Peet’s Coffee, and the soundtrack recording to the Korean TV series “Life is Beautiful.” She is currently Concertmaster of the Vallejo Symphony and a member of the Marin Symphony, and has played with Symphony Silicon Valley, Santa Rosa, and Stockton Symphonies. She has played Principal 2nd with the SF Lyric Opera, soloed with the Nova Vista Symphony and has served as the orchestra’s Concertmaster. Joyce has trained hundreds of young musicians through SFCM’s Summer Music West, the Marin Symphony Youth Orchestra, Bishop O’Dowd High School in Oakland, and AP Giannini Middle School in San Francisco.
