Tours and Other Visit Experiences
We look forward to having you on campus!
Campus Tours and Information Sessions
These are offered most weekdays at 9:15 a.m. & 1:15 p.m., and select Saturdays. The visit includes a 45 minute information session with an admissions counselor followed by a 60 minute walking tour of campus with one of our student ambassadors.
We offer guided tours and presentations with Admissions Counselors for groups that are larger than 5 people. These are available to high school and community college groups that are less than 50 students on select days. For more information, please visit our group visits information page.
Class Visit Experiences
Our Professors care about their students--and even know their names! Sit in a class where you can observe our cutting edge liberal arts curriculum firsthand. Please note that class visits are only available to admitted high school Seniors and Transfer students.
On Campus Interviews
A great way to meet an admissions counselor to talk about your interests and background. Interviews serve two purposes; they let us ask, "why should we choose you?" and they let you ask, "why should I choose Saint Mary's?"
Thinking about continuing your education at Saint Mary's? Bring us a copy of your transcripts and we can help you take the first steps.
Self Guided Tours and Campus Maps
Want to explore campus on your own? We offer a great self guided tour! If you're on campus between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, stop by the Visitor's Center for a packet of information.
Tours of the Recreational Center
Interested in walking through the new Joseph L. Alioto Recreation Center? We offer guided tours of the facilities Monday-Friday, at 11:15 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. If you would like to visit another time, please contact Campus Recreation at 925-631-4949 or via email at [email protected] to make other arrangements.
Guest and Visitor Parking
Please download and print a visitor's pass prior to coming to campus or pick up a temporary parking permit at the Public Safety Front Gate. Visitors may park in one of our four reserved parking designated visitor lots or where directed by Public Safety personnel. Check-in is on the first floor of Brother Jerome West Hall.
Walk-ins will be accommodated according and all visit requests are subject to availability.
