Northstate Public Radio Interviews Mary Volmer About Her Novel "Crown of Dust"

Mary Volmer, director of Saint Mary's Honors program, is interviewed by Northstate Public Radio about her novel "Crown of Dust," which is set in the gold rush era of mid-19th century California.

Selections from Volmer's novel will also be featured in "Stories on Stage," a new monthly reading series in Sacramento. "Stories on Stage" features short fiction by established and emerging writers from the Sacramento area and surrounding communities. The staged reading of "Crown of Dust" is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 26, 2010 at 7:30p.m. in the Sacramento Poetry Center.
