The Performing Arts Department welcomes students from across the College into its performing ensembles, and provides multiple performance opportunities each academic year.


Dance auditions are not required for the Performing Arts major or minor in Dance. Students may audition for performance ensembles, including the Saint Mary's College Dance Company, early in the new academic year.

The Saint Mary's College Dance Company will hold auditions for the 2018-­19 school year on August 27, 2018 11:45 am - 12:50 pm (ballet) and August 28th, 2018 11:30-1:05 (modern dance) in the Syufy Dance Studio (Room 130). No audition is required to major or minor in Theatre at Saint Mary’s College. Auditions are required for most productions.

The Saint Mary’s Theatre Program announces auditions for our Fall 18 mainstage production: Three Sisters, by Anton Chekhov. There are roles for 5 women and 9 men. Auditions are open to all interested students.

NOTE: This audition process will require memorization of one or more monologues selected by the director.
