Description: 

Politics Professor David Ayón (LMU) will present his book *Power Shift:  How Latinos in California Transformed Politics in America* (2018)He will be in conversation with María Elena Durazo, who is featured in the book.  Durazo, SMC Alumnae 1975, is General Vice President of UNITE HERE, and Vice Chair of the Democratic National Committee of the Democratic Party.  Presented by The Institute for Latino and Latin American Studies and The Roy E. & Patricia Disney Forum and Communication Department.
