What's Open on Campus

Mission and Ministry Center

  • Since March 17th the Mission and Ministry Center (MMC) has been operating remotely. It is important to note that the GaelPantry has been moved to the MMC Lounge (to the right of the Chapel) during the “shelter in place” and will be open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 am to 2 pm.  Those staffing the GaelPantry are taking all of the necessary and required precautions to keep themselves and others safe from COVID-19.

    Students in need of assistance or support, or who have questions about MMC programming at this time, please contact the office at (925-631-4366) or email one of the MMC staff directly.

Gael Pantry

  • Gael Pantry is moved to the Mission and Ministry Center Lounge with modified hours of 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. More options will be provided in the Gael Pantry, and there will be a personal shopper there to assist with food handling.  Gael Pantry is open to all students who present an SMC Student ID.

Oliver Dining Hall 

  • Sodexo FoodServices will continue to provide food through Grab n’ Go options available only at Oliver Hall (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner) For more dining information, please click here.  Gael Pantry is moved to the Mission and Ministry Center 

Counseling & Psychological Services

  • Effective March 16, 2020, CAPS will no longer provide direct in-person services to students for the rest of this academic year. Our staff will be working remotely during our normal business hours of MTWF 9-5, Th 10-5 and closed 12-1 for lunch.  Drop-in Hours will be replaced with Call-In Hours. For more information, check out the CAPS website (see link below).

Health and Wellness Center

  • The Health and Wellness Center (H&WC) is now requiring that students call prior to visiting for any needs. When you call, we will assess your symptoms and determine the best treatment plan. Check the H&WC website: hours and updates Health and Wellness Center - (925) 631-4254

Campus Post Office

  • The SMC Post Office is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The Post Office will remain open during this time and packages can be picked up at the front counter with proper ID. Any packages that are still in the Post Office after April 14, 2020 or will be arriving before the close of the academic school year will be forwarded to the current address of the recipient. You will be contacted directly by a member of the SMC Post Office for forwarding information. Any packages that arrive after May 22, 2020 will be returned to the sender.
