Employee Parking Update -- January 2014

The following letter was released to the campus community on January 27, 2014.

We initiated a new parking permit program this school year.   The fall semester went well, but we have two elements that need to be addressed:

1. During the hours of 7:30am - 3pm, Monday-Friday, you must display a current parking permit and you must park in a lot that is associated with that permit.  There are a significant number of faculty & staff members that do not have the current permit (but do have the old silver sticker). 

2. The number one complaint we get is about people parking in the wrong lot -- students parking in faculty/staff lots and staff & faculty parking in commuter/visitor lots. There are a noticeable number staff & faculty members that park in student & visitor lots.

Starting at the beginning of spring semester, we will be more strictly enforcing the permit requirements for faculty/staff.  If you do not have a 2013/2014 red & white faculty/staff permit, please apply online at:
