Rachel Fletcher MA '17 stands in front of the Golden Gate Bridge during filming of the Saint Mary's institutional commercial.Saint Mary’s is partnering with Madhouse—the talented design firm that produced SMC’s new institutional commercial (or see below)—on an inspiring, creative, video for SMC’s Comprehensive Campaign. We want the video to generate excitement and support for Saint Mary’s.

We are looking for a few SMC students to help with the project. We think it’ll be a lot of fun.

“What will you need to do?”

The selected students will appear on camera to deliver lines from a script about the College. They will appear throughout various locations on campus. The script is poetic in nature and the delivery requires students who are personable, comfortable on camera and can deliver their lines dramatically.

“How much time will this take?”

The video production days are Tuesday, October 3, and Wednesday, October 4, 2017.  We will need students who have windows of availability on those days. 

“Ok, I’m into it. What’s next?”

If you’re interested in participating in the project, please provide a short audition video of yourself delivering a piece of poetry of your choosing. The production quality of your audition doesn’t matter as much as showing that you have the skills needed on camera. Please don’t send a video with still photographs of yourself for the visual. We’d like to SEE and HEAR you.
