Saint Mary's College Celebrates Ten Years of Helping Dancers

What: Saint Mary's College of California celebrates the tenth anniversary of its Liberal Education for Arts Professionals (LEAP) program - specifically designed for professional dance artists - with a gala performance and reception. Performers include principal dancers from the San Francisco Ballet, Smuin Ballet, LINES Ballet, Diablo Ballet and Broadway productions.

LEAP was started a decade ago to help remove barriers to educational opportunities for dance artists and prepare for the inevitable career transition that comes when age or injury takes its toll.

Background: The Liberal Education for Arts Professionals (LEAP) program currently serves more than 300 dancers from major companies, film, television and the Broadway stage.
