“Horizons,” presented by Saint Mary’s College Dance Company, features the work of eight Saint Mary’s seniors, and explores many facets of the human experience, including love, magic, faith, innocence, sacrifice, and competition, while maintaining the integrity of each choreographer’s unique artistic voice. The image of the horizon reflects the vastness of the world, as well as the vastness of humanity, and reminds us where we have been and where we are going. No two people have ever, or will ever live the same life, but ultimately we are all looking at the same sky. The performance incorporates a variety of dance styles, including modern, tap, and dance theatre, offering opportunities to laugh, cry, ponder, and appreciate the depth and diversity of the choreography.
Each show begins at 8 p.m., and tickets are free for Saint Mary’s students and $5 for general admission.
