San Francisco Quarterly Mixer with the National Association of Securities Professionals

On Friday, September 23, 2011 the School of Economics and Business Administration celebrated the completion of another quarter by organizing a San Francisco mixer in conjunction with the National Association of Securities Professionals (NASP). The event allowed students, alumni, and faculty to mix and mingle with members from the National Association of Securities Professionals as well as socialize with other Saint Mary's community members at Jillian's in San Francisco.

"The evening served as a great opportunity for our alumni and students to make connections and continue to expand the network," said Kirk Knapp the M.S. in Financial Analysis and Investment Management (MS-FAIM) Program Director. The San Francisco based MS-FAIM program was not the only population represented at the mixer. Among the alumni present on Friday night was Cory Haynes, Director of eBusiness for Russell Investments and a graduate of the Trans-Global Executive MBA program. Cory said that "as a NASP representative [he] was excited by how well the event worked out --- we should definitely do this again next year."
