Named in honor of the revered Brother Jerome Griffin, who was a professor of Economics and dean of the School of Economics and Business Administration at Saint Mary’s College for 14 years. Awarded to a graduating senior with an outstanding scholastic record in the School of Economics and Business Administration.
This award is named in memory of the noted Bay Area developer and long time donor of the College and Gael Athletics. George R. McKeon supported the student-athlete experience both on and off the field, helping the Gaels succeed as competitors in the classroom and in their sport. Holly is a senior at Saint Mary’s College of California, with a triple major in Marketing, Digital Media and Communication. In addition to making the dean’s honor roll every semester, she serves on the Undergraduate Advisory Board where she works with the School of Economic and Business Administration to improve her undergraduate peers’ academic experiences. She is the VP of marketing and communications for the school’s Marketing Club and is an active member of the Communication Club and the Gael Women in Business Network.
Anahi is a junior Business Administration major, with concentrations in Finance and Business Analytics, with a 3.7 GPA. She's interned at HP the last two summers and now continues to work in a Digital Procurement analytics role, building reports in Power BI for data visualization and analytics. She is also in the High Potential Program, a Resident Advisor and in the GWIB and Latinx Business Club.
Brooke is a rising senior from Sacramento, California majoring in Accounting. On campus she is involved in the Honors Program, the Accounting Association, and the Asian Pacific American Student Association where she delves deeper into her culture and cultivates an inclusive environment for those who identify as part of the API community. She recently interned at Ernst & Young and plans to start full time in their Assurance service line after graduation while pursuing her CPA licensure.
