CALC Program

SEEKING RESEARCH PARTICIPANTS

Are you ...

... a current major in the School of Science?

... a former major in the School of Science?

... undeclared but considering a major in the School of Science?

If so, WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

You are invited to be a paid participant in a research study about the experiences of students in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and math) at Saint Mary's College.

The study is an evaluation of Caminos a Las Ciencias (CALC): Pathways to Science, a new program designed to support Hispanic and low-income students in STEM. Hispanic and/or low-income students are especially encouraged to help evaluate this program, but all STEM students are invited to participate.

Participation in the study is voluntary, and responses will be completely confidential.

To participate, you must be 18 or older and willing to complete at least one annual survey (30-40 minutes) and/or interview (45-60 minutes).  Study participants will receive bookstore vouchers as compensation.

For more information and to sign up for the study, please visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SMC_CALC
