Dr. Pamela Lein

Dr. Lein's research interests are focused on understanding the mechanisms underlying the effect of environmental stressors on neurodevelopment.

Her current research focuses on environmental risk factors for autism spectrum disorders, improved medical countermeasures for treating acute intoxication with seizure-inducing chemical threat agents such as organophosphorus pesticides and understanding the molecular and cellular basis of dendritic growth regulation during normal development, upon exposure to environmental stressors and during various diseases/disorders.
