Financial Planning & Literacy

Students at Saint Mary's have access to resources that can assist in building a financial plan while attending Saint Mary's and for the future after graduation.

Private external grants and scholarships can sometimes be an added source of funds.  If a student finds that their financial circumstances have significantly changed in the middle of an academic year, their Financial Aid counselor can be an important resource in reassessing.  Below are some links to resources to get additional information.

  • Links to External Grants and Scholarships - Even if you have been awarded Saint Mary's aid, there are still ways to cover some of the gaps with external grants and scholarships.  As the director for Financial Aid has said, a few hours put into researching external grants and scholarships may help to pay for books for the term or other educational expenses.
  • Saint Mary's College Financial Aid Office - If you find that your financial circumstances have dramatically changed since you submitted your FAFSA (e.g. parent loss of job), we encourage you to schedule a meeting with your financial aid counselor to review your financial aid package or answer questions regarding emergency funds.
