On-campus housing is required for all First-Year students who have been accepted and commit to SMC on or before May 1st. New students for the Spring semester and Transfer students enrolling for either the Fall or Spring semester are provided housing on a first-come, first-serve basis.
All current First-Year residents are guaranteed and encouraged to live in student housing for their Sophomore year. Continuing students participate in the Housing Room Selection Process each year for the chance to secure housing for the following academic year and enjoy the benefits that come with living on campus.
Gender Inclusive Housing
Campus Housing offers gender inclusive housing options for students. It is the intention of Campus Housing to make room assignments on how you, the student, prefer to identify. Please contact Samantha Alberto, Housing Operations Manager (925-631-4897), to discuss your housing assignment preferences. For additional support and resources, please contact Legacy Lee, Assistant Director of the Intercultural Center (925-631-8358) or Sharon Sobotta, Director of Women's Resource Center (925-631-4171). Please refer to the Saint Mary's College Nondiscrimination Disclosure found in the College's Undergraduate Student Handbook.
Summer housing is available to Saint Mary's students enrolled for the fall 2016 semester.
