This I Believe Series

First Year Saint Mary's College students will read This I Believe II as their Common Reading.  This I Believe II is a collection of 500 word essays that explore core principles that guide our everyday lives. From everyday folks to Elie Wiesel, the contributors express their beliefs, values and convictions in the diverse essays. Readers will be driven to reflect on what exactly they believe.

This I Believe Series

The This I Believe series will be instrumental in connecting the themes of the first year common reading to lived experiencess in which discovery and exploration of personal values, beliefs, questions takes place. The series is a collaboration across campus partnerships to provide ample opportunity for students to engage in forums that encourage them ask the big and important questions and to be respectful in dialogue with the community.
