This I Believe Series
The This I Believe series will be instrumental in connecting the themes of the first year common reading to lived experiencess in which discovery and exploration of personal values, beliefs, questions takes place. The series is a collaboration across campus partnerships to provide ample opportunity for students to engage in forums that encourage them ask the big and important questions and to be respectful in dialogue with the community.

Mr. John Salberg, joins our community to discuss how, after surviving clergy sexual abuse, he remains a man of deep faith and conviction. The talk will serve as a lens in which to view one’s role in a faith community, how to navigate that role in the face of deep disappointment and how to be a thoughtful and intentional voice despite taking a risky and sometimes unpopular stance. |
