Saturday, August 31

Paint the SMC

5:00 PM | Meet Outside De La Salle Hall

This annual tradition with all new Saint Mary’s students takes you up to the SMC letters to paint them in red, white and blue! All transfer students who would like to participate should plan to meet in front of De La Salle Hall at 5pm!

WoW Carnival 

8 - 10:00 PM | De La Salle Lawn

Join all new students in this carnival atmosphere of fun, games, food, inflatables, and music!

Transfer Student Orientation

Alpha Mass

8:00 PM | Chapel

Kick off a new academic year at the first Student Mass of the year in the Chapel.

Bay Area Trips

10:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Various Locations

Get to know the Bay Area through a variety of trips to iconic neighborhoods and landmarks! Ask any WoWie for more information or keep an eye out around campus for flyers with a QR code to sign up! There will also be shuttles to our local Target store.

Welcome Back BBQ

5 - 7 PM | Chapel Lawn

All Saint Mary’s students will be back on campus to join in this free community BBQ, hosted by Campus Recreation.

Hosted by the Intercultural Center and Residential Experience, this get together allows you to socialize with other transfer students as well as student leaders to hear more about the SMC student experience.

Academic Transfer Student Welcome Reception (Mandatory)

1:00 PM | De La Salle Hall, Hagerty Lounge

This reception serves as your official academic welcome and Convocation. We ask that all transfer students join faculty at this gathering.
