New Electronic Resources for 2014-15

In these days of seasonal horror, when so many members of our community are startled by the appearance of imagined bogies - Eek, a midterm! A paper, how terrifying! A citation, the fear, THE FEAR! - it's reassuring to know the Library remains the haven it's always been. Some of the most effective wards for repelling the specters haunting the dreams of young scholars are, of course, this year's new electronic resources.

Improved Off-Campus Access to Chronicle of Higher Education

The Chronicle of Higher Education has implemented a new method for SMC users to access its contents from off-campus. By clicking "Log in" (at the top right of the screen) and creating an account with your SMC email address and password you'll be able to access 100% of the Chronicle's content without having to go through the Library website.

The Chronicle of Higher Education highlights the Saint Mary’s College Library as one of three college libraries that use Pinterest (a social network utilizing a digital scrapbook platform for sharing art, design, hobbies and cultural interests) for academic purposes.

Greetings SMC community, and welcome back to campus - we hope you all experienced your fair share of tryptophan, holiday cheer, and large, helmeted men pummeling each other mercilessly over possession of an oddly shaped ball. This is to inform you of new academic database offerings that have come online in recent months. We'll be making a concerted effort to keep the SMC community thoroughly informed about such new offerings moving forward. And now! Behold, the new databases!
