Christian Unity Photo Opportunity - Wed, Jan 20

To honor and acknowledge The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, an aerial photo will be taken in the shape of a cross.  We invite students, staff and faculty of all denominations and faith traditions to be part of this unique opportunity.  We will gather in front of the Chapel at 12:45 PM, on Wed, Jan 20. If rain prevents us from being outside, the photo will take place inside the Chapel. We hope to see you there. All are welcome!

8 PM Gospel Mass Sun Jan 17th

Sunday's 8 PM Mass is loaded with meaning! It begins The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. And to help us acknowledge Martin Luther King Day, Mark Wilson (Sociology Dept Faculty), music leader from the Black Gospel Catholic Church, St. Columba, will lead us in song! A fresh spirit of solidarity will fill the chapel. All are welcome!

Rev. Osagyefo Sekou: "After Ferguson: The Dream for Justice"

A minister and social justice activist, Sekou gained national prominence as a leader withing the Black Lives Matter protests in Ferguson, Mo., following the August 9, 2014 shooting death of Michael Brown. Rev. Sekou is considered one of the foremost religious leaders of his generation.

The Staff Council is proud to sponsor a presentation by Chief Diversity Officer Tomas Gomez-Arias followed by an Open Forum discussion.  The meeting will take place on January 12th in Hagerty Lounge (De la Salle Hall) starting at noon. Francisco Herrera Sings for 8 PM Mass - Jan 10

Francisco Herrera, social activist/politician and musician, will lead music at the 8 PM Mass this Sunday, Jan 10.  Francisco recently visited our campus for the Music for Change event put together by a class in Sociology and MMC.  He returns to celebrate the Eucharist with bilingual selections that will draw our community to deeper faith in Christ.  Please join us.
