What: Telling Our Stories II: A Memoir Writing Class. A follow-up to Telling Our Stories I, Telling Our Stories II further explores the roles of structure and voice in memoir writing--how the synergies of narrative, description, reflection, and commentary can elevate one's story from mere reminiscence to thought-provoking examination of one's experiences. Evaluative comments on students' writing will be geared toward creating well-rounded pieces with an eye toward publication.
