The New Yorker logoThe New Yorker features the poem The Bride Tree Lives Three Times, written by Saint Mary’s English Professor Brenda Hillman. Recognized as one of the nation’s most gifted poets, and a current chancellor for the Academy of American Poets, Hillman, who teaches in the College’s MFA in Creative Writing Program, has had several poems published by The New Yorker, including Till it Finishes What it Does in 2011.
