Theatre Senior Kudos: Kimiya Shokri ('19)

Senior lands professional role

Senior Kimiya Shokri is the third Theatre major in the 2019 graduating class to land her first professional acting job while still in school. In Geetha Reddy’s Far Far Better Things, a Latina domestic worker and a young South Asian female doctor are separated by class, race, and the unspoken rules of modern womanhood. The world premiere, co-produced by Shotgun Players and Theatre FIRST, opens April 26th at Live Oak Theatre, in Berkeley. Click here for more information.
