Tony Kopera '65Tony Kopera has had a section of Chicago’s Clark Street renamed in his honor to recognize his 34 years of service to the community and to the field of mental health. Tony retired in March 2012 as longtime CEO and president of Community Counseling Centers of Chicago (C4) after leading the organization for 34 years, growing it from an outpatient store-front clinic to a $16 million agency with five sites reaching 10,000 adults and children each year. C4 is the recipient of several national awards, including the 2011 Science and Service Award from the national Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
