William Mullen, EdDWilliam Mullen, EdD has been appointed as the Vice Provost for Enrollment and Communications for Saint Mary's College. His appointment begins Aug. 1, 2019.
Mullen brings a wealth of strategic leadership experience in both enrollment management and communications to the College.  He most recently served as the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Marketing at Franklin University in Lugano, Switzerland. His higher education leadership also includes serving as Vice President of Enrollment Management at Augsburg University, and Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.  

Mullen’s notable accomplishments include developing international partnerships and increasing international student enrollment. (The ability to speak four languages has contributed significantly to his international recruitment work.) His achievements also include increasing student diversity; designing and implementing a new external website; creating a new financial aid leveraging model; and increasing transfer student enrollment through the development of partnerships with community colleges. His commitment to student success is evidenced by his fundraising for student scholarships; work on improving student retention; and extensive teaching experience.  
As the Vice Provost for Enrollment and Communications, Mullen is responsible for overseeing Admissions, Financial Aid, the Registrar, international student recruitment, and the Office of College Communications.
