Women’s Leadership Program Presents 'Female Collaboration Empowers All Women'

SMC's Women's Leadership ProgramThe Women’s Leadership Program at Saint Mary’s College of California has partnered with Women’s Leadership LIVE (WLL) and Where Women Work magazine to present “Female Collaboration Empowers All Women,” a Facebook Live panel discussion on leadership and entrepreneurship for women. The engaging women’s leadership event takes place at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 22, 2019, in the Soda Center at Saint Mary’s College of California, 1928 St. Mary’s Road, Moraga, Calif. 94575, and will be live streamed on the WLL Facebook page.

“Female Collaboration Empowers All Women” is co-hosted by Carmen Milagro, an entrepreneur, artist, and founder of Borbón Skincare; and Saint Mary’s alumna Roxana Damas MBA ’15, a 2017 U.N. Empower Women Champion for Change, creator of WEE Global Live—designed in support of the U.N. Empower Women initiative—and a U.N. Association East Bay board member. The event brings together a unique panel of business executives and leaders from the fields of software development, marketing, publishing, skin care, and international women’s empowerment. The live roundtable discussion includes:

  • Kim Vogel ’89, Founder, BaseVenture, serial entrepreneur, Saint Mary’s alumna, and member of the College’s Board of Trustees.
  • Roxana Damas, MBA ’15, Saint Mary’s alumna, Founder of Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) Global Live.
  • Stacey Schieffelin and Debbie Saviano, Leadership LIVE (WLL) founders (50 million TV followers).
