Congratulations on becoming a Gael! Stay connected, feel prepared, and learn everything you need to know about your future at Saint Mary's. Below you can register for our Spring Admitted Student Sessions all geared towards preparing you for the start of the semester!

Join us throughout the week during the month of January 2021 to stay connected with us and make sure you feel ready for your journey at SMC. Take a look at the various sessions we are offering below. Please keep in mind that each session will only be offered once.

Personalized Academic Planning

Thursday, January 21, 2021, from 5:00 - 6:00pm

Preparing for the start of the semester includes registering for classes. At Saint Mary's, our Advising Office helps students register for their first semester of classes. Once you submit your final transcripts and complete your Pre-enrollment Questionnaire, our faculty advisors will create a class schedule based on your preferences and academic pursuits. At this session, you will be able to ask these advisors questions about majors, minors, the Core Curriculum, transfer credits, the registration process, and more about your academic life at SMC.

Navigating Technology at SMC

Monday, January 25, 2021, from 2:00 - 3:00pm

This session is designed specifically for incoming new and transfer students, this session will provide you with an overview of all of SMC's technology platforms. The interactive session will show you how these services, and many more, can help you navigate life at SMC.

What's Life like On-Campus Right Now?

Tuesday, January 26, 2021, from 5:00 - 6:00pm

As we get closer to the start of the semester, join the Dean of Students, Evette Castillo Clark, and Assistant Director of Residential Experience, Samantha Alberto, during this virtual session to ask your questions about what to expect upon arriving on campus! Alongside Dean Evette and Samantha will be special SMC guests that include current students, staff, faculty, and Christian Brothers, who will be available to answer questions that you may have about starting at SMC.

Integral Department Connection Session

Wednesday, January 27, 2021, from 4:30 - 5:30pm

Have you heard about Saint Mary's Integral Department? The Admissions Office is collaborating with the Integral Department to introduce this distinct program to all prospective students! Join Dorian Roberts, Associate Director Undergraduate Admissions, and Julie Park, Tutor in the Integral Program, as well as, several Integral Program faculty to learn more about various aspects of the Program. At this session, you will also hear from and ask questions of current students and Liz Hamm, Direction of the Integral Program, and Tutors Steve Cortright and David Arndt.
