MORAGA, Calif. - Saint Mary's will officially kickoff their 2025 season with a home matchup against CSUN, their first with the Matadors since 2008. The Gaels will bring a veteran squad into the 2025 season and are well positioned to make a run at the conference title. The Gaels were picked to finish 7th in this year's preseason poll and will look to get off on the right foot Thursday evening, seeking their first ever home win over CSUN. 

The Saint Mary's Men's Basketball program's graduating class of 2025 featured three of the most successful Gaels in program history. Most notably, the trio of Augustas Marciulionis, Mitchell Saxen and Luke Barrett became the first ever Gaels to appear in four NCAA Tournaments in four years. At the start of this summer, Marciulionis signed an Exhibit 10 deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. About a month later, Mitchell Saxen signed with Nanterre 92 of France. Luke Barrett has now completed the Gael trifecta, signing with Arka Gdynia of the Polish Basketball League, joining the likes of Brad Waldow '15 of WKK Wroclaw. 

In year three of the Coach Harlan Lopez era for Saint Mary's Men's Cross Country and Track put up historic numbers. The Gaels won their first cross country meet under Coach Lopez's guidance, the 2024 Pacific Invitational, took home their first top-five conference finish under his tutelage, and saw five program records fall on the track. Coach Lopez is primed for another solid season with 19 returning student-athletes, but has also brought in a stellar recruiting class of 18 new Gaels.

MORAGA, Calif. - The Saint Mary's men's soccer team wrapped up their first week of camp ahead of the 2025 season as they prepare for their first exhibition of the preseason against Santa Clara. Head coach Adam Cooper and his squad will embark on a new chapter in the program's history, but one that is full of excitement and optimism as the Gaels welcome twenty newcomers to this year's squad.
