The Anthropology Department offers two minors: Anthropology, and Archaeology.

The Anthropology Minor (6.25 Credits Total)

Lower Division

  • Anthropology 001: Introduction to Social and Cultural Anthropology;
  • Anthropology 005: Introduction to Archaeology; or 
  • Biology 007: Introduction to Biological Anthropology; and
  • One credit .25 credit Anth 011 Conversation of Materials Archaeology lab.

Upper Division

  • Anthropology 001: Introduction to Social and Cultural Anthropology;
  • Anthropology 005: Introduction to Archaeology; and
  • Two electives.

The Archaeology Minor (6.50 Credits Total)

Lower Division

  • Anthropology 001: Introduction to Social and Cultural Anthropology;
  • Anthropology 005: Introduction to Archaeology; or
  • Biology 7: Introduction to Biological Anthropology); and
  • Two .25 credit Anth 011 Conversation of Archaeology Materials labs.

Upper Division 

  • Anthropology 100: Principles of Anthropology;
  • Anthropology 127: Topics in Archaeology; 
  • Anthropology 129: World Prehistory; and
  • One elective.
