Leadership Giving Societies

Body

History and tradition are hallmarks of Saint Mary’s College. Guided by the Brothers’ belief in the transformative power of education, generations of students have benefited from this exceptional approach to learning and strong spiritual grounding.

Today’s students have much in common with those who first arrived in 1863. They need to develop critical minds, synthesize hypotheses and acquire the skills and knowledge that will prepare them for life after Saint Mary’s. They need to understand the complexity of human civilization, enduring values and why higher principles still matter. As a Catholic institution, we affirm the moral obligation to care for God’s creation.

Your annual leadership gift of $1,863 or more ensures that present and future Gaels benefit from this exceptional personal and spiritual journey.

Together and by Association: Setting an Example

Our leadership donors share a common dedication to Saint Mary’s. These alumni, parents and friends set an example for the entire Saint Mary’s family by their commitment to the future of the institution. Their annual gifts provide necessary funds that enable the College to seize new opportunities and address the most pressing needs. Together and by association, our collective energy makes us unstoppable.

All charitable gifts made during the fiscal year count toward leadership giving recognition, including outright gifts, corporate matching gifts, pledges, sponsorships, and other gifts-in-kind. All gifts in these categories to any Saint Mary's fund, school, or program apply.

Giving Societies

The President’s Circle is Saint Mary’s most prestigious recognition level. This elite group of donors demonstrate a significant philanthropic investment in the mission of the College, and set an example for the entire Saint Mary’s community.

To show our appreciation for annual gifts of $5,000 and above, the College provides President’s Circle donors with unique opportunities to strengthen their ties with campus leadership, the Brothers, and the greater Gael community -- all with an eye towards building the future of Saint Mary’s College.

Donors who support Saint Mary's with an annual gift of $1,863 to $4,999 will be recognized at the 1863 Society level, named in honor of our founding year.

All outright gifts of cash (including credit cards and pledge payments) and stock made during the fiscal year will be applied to the 1863 Society recognition level. Gifts to any fund, school, or program apply.

Legacy is a word rich in tradition. While it's often associated with history, legacy is also about how you live your life today and provide for future generations. It is the example you set - for your family, in leadership, in your community.

By including Saint Mary's College in your giving plans, you will join a growing movement - the Lasallian Legacy Circle - of alumni, family, and community members committed to ensuring our future.

All are welcome in this circle - new graduates and treasured alumni, individuals and families, dedicated faculty and staff - anyone wishing to enrich your life through giving.

The 1863 Society recognizes young alumni who make annual leadership gifts to the College based on their graduation year.
