Cultural Nights

Cultural Nights take place every spring semester to bring attention to the historical milestones, customs, traditions, and contemporary issues of five historically underrepresented and/or traditionally marginalized groups. Through spoken word, theatrical pieces, music, food, dance, and other creative media, students express their individual and collective identities.

	Seventh Annual Lu'au Thursday, February 28, 2013 Soda Center Advance ticket sales take place February 11th through February 27th at noon. Remaining tickets will be sold at the door. To pay in person, please bring exact cash* and register at the IC (come by Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.) Tickets are $5 for all current SMC community members, and $10 for all other guests.
	Sixteenth Annual Asian Cultural Night (ACN) Thursday, March 7, 2013 Soda Center Advance ticket sales take place February 18th through March 7th at noon. Remaining tickets will be sold at the door. *Tickets are subject to sell-out before the event.
	Eleventh Annual Expressions of Blackness (EOB) Thursday, March 21, 2013 Soda Center If you would like to perform in EOB, please submit your EOB Set Application by Wednesday, January 16, 2013. Advance ticket sales take place March 4th through March 20th at noon. Remaining tickets will be sold at the door. *Tickets are subject to sell-out before the event.
	Eighth Annual The BASH ( LGBTQIA Community) Thursday, April 11, 2013 Soda Center Advance Registration begins on March 18th through April 10th at noon. Registration will also take place at the door. *Event is subject to sell-out before the event.
	Thirteenth Annual Latino Cultural Night (LCN) Thursday, May 2, 2013 Soda Center Advance ticket sales take place April 15th through May 1st at noon. Remaining tickets will be sold at the door. *Tickets are subject to sell-out before the event.
