Welcome to Staff Council. From professional development to compensation and benefits, we've got our hands in just about everything. And we want to hear from you.
Established in 2000, the Staff Council contributes to the mission of the College, to the growth and welfare of its staff, and to the promotion of a positive and supportive work environment. We are 16 elected volunteers, working within 4 Council committees and 10 Campus committees, who meet monthly throughout the academic year to discuss issues important to the campus community. We invite all members of the community, especially staff, to attend our meetings to discuss these issues. The first 30 minutes of every meeting is an open forum. Current Council members share their reasons for getting involved in this video.
Would you rather have an extra day off at Thanksgiving, Christmas, or Easter? Take our poll!
Our next meeting is Tuesday, February 9, 2016, 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Our guest speakers, Chris Sindt and Eduardo Salaz, will present about the Administrative Department Review process from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Staff are invited to bring their questions and comments.
