We think you will explore some uncharted territory at Saint Mary’s. But we also know new can seem a little scary. That’s why our network of students, faculty and staff will make sure you feel safe and supported at every stage of your journey.
You can rely on our Public Safety Department day and night and in times of emergency. If you are looking for ways to get involved, visit the Office of Community Life or the Women’s Resource Center (men included!) to learn how student leaders support health and safety at SMC. We also have a comprehensive set of policies and procedures for large-scale emergency planning. We believe student safety starts at the student level, so we want you to join in.
Still have questions? Scott Kier, our Dean of Students, would be happy to help you learn more about the resources available at SMC.
