Business Students Give Downtown Moraga an Extreme Makeover

The "Extreme Makeover" class was part of JanTerm - a 4-week session to explore specialized topics. This project focused on surveying retail and restaurant businesses and student attitudes, and devloping ideas for businesses to attract more traffic from students.

Immediate Connection to the Global Network

Saint Mary's is a Catholic, Lasallian, liberal arts college, rooted in the life and work of Saint John Baptist de la Salle, founder of the Christian Brothers and the patron saint of teachers. The Christian Brothers are presently in 82 countries, have more than 1,000 teaching establishments, and educate 1,000,000 students.

Professor Jyoti Bachani receives the prestigious Fulbright Award from the U.S. State Department.

Professor Jyoti Bachani will travel to India to study how the practice of "jugaad", a grassroots South Asian term for overcoming barriers through the combination of innovation and perspiration, has contributed to the rise of India as a global economic power.

Diversity Scholarships Established

For the first time, Graduate Business Programs offers diversity scholarships, thanks to Raul Deju and Executive MBA alumnus, Song Woo.

Commerce was one of the first three disciplines taught when the College was founded in 1865 at Saint Mary’s.

The School of Economics and Business Administration (SEBA) offers distinguished undergraduate degree programs, such as the B.S. in Accounting, the B.S. in Business Administration, and the choice of a B.A. or B.S. in Economics.
