Meet the Staff

The Office of Residential Experience houses the Associate Dean of Students and Director of Residential Experience as well as a team of student workers. Please feel free to call us or visit our office during the week between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and we will be glad to assist you.

Jim Sciuto, Associate Dean of Students

Jim graduated with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from Saint Mary’s College in the Class of 2000 and obtained his Master's Degree of Education from the University of San Francisco in the Class of 2009. He is also the current Resident Director of Guerrieri East Hall.

Alfred Day, Director of Residential Experience

Al graduated with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from California State University, Fresno in the Class of 1993 and received a Master’s Degree of Public Administration from California State University, Northridge in the Class of 1999. He is also the current Resident Director of Claeys North Hall.

	Taylor Bradshaw Hometown: San Rafael, CA Major: Integral Class Year: Class of 2013 Campus Involvement: Lasallian Community, TASC Tutor, Integral Social Committee, counselor at the Integral Program Summer Institute for high school students Fun Fact: Travel back in time and space to the Bay Bridge in 1991…Taylor is being born!
	Kyle Drohan Hometown: Antioch, CA Major: Communication Class Year: Class of 2015 Fun Fact: A talented musician who transferred to Saint Mary's this year, Kyle has played drums and guitar for 12 years.
	Maria Ferguson Hometown: Napa, CA Major: 3+2 Engineering Class Year: Class of 2015 Campus Involvement: Honors Community, Glee Club, Academic Honor Council, Math Center Tutor Fun Fact: Maria has no problem flying solo--last summer, she traveled to Barcelona and worked in a lab for two weeks testing the power usage of an EEG device.
	Ellie Hoyt Hometown: Merced, CA Major: Anthropology and History Class Year: Class of 2013 Campus Involvement: Peer Council, Admissions Volunteer Program Fun Fact: Ellie loves gardening and spending time outside!
	Mareesa Santos Hometown: Modesto, CA Major: Business Administration with a Concentration in Marketing Class Year: Class of 2013 Campus Involvement: Always up for an adventure, Mareesa studied in London for the Fall 2011 semester. Fun Fact: Unlike her boss from SoCal, Mareesa is a huge San Francisco Giants fan and represents her team well with orange garb.
	Mariela Silva Hometown: Sacramento, CA Major: Communication Class Year: Class of 2016 Fun Fact: Mariela started preschool knowing only Spanish, and has visited Mexico for a few weeks every summer since she was born.
