A highly accomplished, semi-retired VP international business and marketing for BankAustria USA, a $140 billion financial institution. Professor Koran has been teaching international management courses at USF’s and Saint Mary’s MBA and EMBA programs since 1987. For four years taught Export Management in the International Diploma Program at UC Berkeley Extension. He has thorough practical knowledge of cultural issues and business practices of major international markets. Extensive business travel to Central and Eastern Europe, Mexico, Latin America, Japan, Canada, Caribbean and South East Asia. From 2007 to 2009 worked as Academic Director, Business and Management Department at UC Berkeley Extension, managing a diverse full-time team of professional program directors and administrative staff members; reporting to the dean. From 1992 to 2005 managed his own Export Management Company involved in exports of U.S. made consumer products to Japan and Eastern Europe and trading consumer products worldwide.
