Lili Yan

Dr. Lili Yan is an Associate Professor of Business Ethics in the Department of Organizations and Responsible Business. Her research and teaching interests lay at the intersection of business ethics, law and nonmarket strategy in international business. Her interdisciplinary research synthesizes theories from business ethics and international business with law and economic sociology to examine firm strategy in a multinational context. Her research has been presented at the Academy of Management Annual Conference, Society of Business Ethics Annual Conference, and Strategic Management Society Annual Conference. 

Dr. Yan received her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from George Washington University School of Business and Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Indiana University-Bloomington Maurer School of Law. Prior to her academia career, Dr. Yan worked as an attorney in an international antitrust case on price-fixing investigations. She is a licensed attorney of the State of New York and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
