Research Conference Prep Colloquia

TIMES UPDATED -- Moved from 2:30-3:30 pm to 3-4:00 pm

Before students actually make their posters, it can be extremely helpful to talk to other students about their research in order to gauge their true points of interest and help ensure that these important points will be included in their presentation. Furthermore, this colloquia is also a space for people who are unsure about whether they wants to present or are planning to present in the future, and would like to have some informal practice beforehand. I will be providing examples of sample research posters and ideally create a space where people are comfortable sharing their research and exchanging ideas before having to do this at a larger scale in the conference.
