Weekend of Welcome
Our faculty, staff, and students are excited to welcome first year and transfer students to Saint Mary’s College as our newest Gaels!
Weekend of Welcome 2024 will take place August 22–25. Fall classes begin on Monday, August 26.

MOVE-IN DATES AND TIMES
August 20
If you are attending orientation on Wednesday, August 21, you will move into your residence hall on Tuesday, August 20, 1–3 p.m.
Last Name A-L: 1–2 p.m. / Last Name M-Z: 2–3 p.m.
August 22
If you attended orientation in June, you will move in on Thursday, August 22, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Last Name A-L: 9–11 a.m. / Last Name M-Z: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
When you arrive on campus, you will be directed to a Campus Housing station where you will receive your keys, student ID, and other important information.

Your guides for Weekend of Welcome are Student Leaders (WoWies), who will answer your questions, give advice and show you around!
After move-in day, you, as a new student, get to take part in Weekend of Welcome—you'll participate in activities that focus on coursework, programs that complement the curriculum, and activities that will help you get acquainted with your new home.
