Student Health Center
The Student Health Center is an urgent care facility located right on campus. We recognize that your health and well-being is essential for your academic success, which is why providing confidential clinical services with compassion and integrity is important and at the forefront of our identity.
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides a confidential, safe, and supportive environment to help you deal with difficult transitions in life, as well as assist you with more serious concerns.
Around the Clock Safety
Public Safety is always available 24/7/365 to keep SMC a safe and secure environment for our community to work, to teach, and to learn.
We empower students through education and outreach fora supportive approach in response to violence to all students through our Campus Assault Response and Education Center (CARE).
Meet all your fitness and wellness goals right here on campus. With access to the Joseph L. Alioto Recreation Center as well as countless other events, programs, and clubs, you’ll be able to fully embrace your healthiest self (and have lots of fun in the process).

You’ll find multiple opportunities to make a difference and contribute to the overall well-being of our community by supporting your peers’ health, wellness, and safety on campus.
Peer Advocates for Wellness
Peer Advocates in Wellness (PAW) are students dedicated to promoting wellness. They work with the Wellness Division of the College to provide informative, interactive, and fun programming that advances the well-being of all students.
Every September, as part of the First Year First Six programming, Wellness Services hosts the Wellness Fair, where campus partners and community vendors provide information and resources to students, faculty, and staff.
