Mark Your Calendars: Academic Convocation and Honoree

As articulated in our Transformation 2028 strategic plan, Saint Mary’s strives to deepen its Lasallian and Catholic heritage, honor the rich variety of gifts and experiences that make our own community the special place that it is, and strengthen its role as a key collaborator in our worldwide Lasallian community. 

The Academic Convocation is a signature occasion for helping to achieve that part of our mission, a cornerstone of our annual De La Salle Heritage Days, and a key moment in our academic year. This year’s Academic Convocation theme is “One La Salle ~ Global Inspirations,” emphasizing our commitment to and participation in a global educational network that engages hearts and transforms lives. More information on this year's De La Salle Heritage Days will be forthcoming soon.

This year’s Academic Convocation is scheduled for Wednesday, April 26, 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. in the Saint Mary’s Chapel, followed by a reception in the Soda Center. Please save the date and mark your calendars!

This year’s very special Academic Convocation honoree represents a great contributor to our Lasallian mission: Joan Landeros, PhD, AFSC.
