Dr. Zahra Ahmed worked over 20 years in community-based educational spaces with an MA in Social Work and PhD in Political Science on civic and community engagement. She advances Black feminist pedagogy by studying radical democracy, contemplative justice movement building, and facilitating social action among students and people of color.
