Gotham Sings!
When the Saint Mary’s choirs were on tour last July in Riga, Latvia, where they won two gold medals at the World Choir Games, a New York concert producer invited them to perform at Carnegie Hall as part of a showcase of American choirs called Gotham Sings!
After an arduous and exhilarating rehearsal schedule leading up to the event on April 18, the Chamber Singers and Glee Club, under the direction of Professor Julie Ford, filled the premier performing venue with a 40-minute solo set and joyful sound.
