Dr. Gloria Aquino Sosa, with Assistant Vice Provost Dr. Tracy Pascua Dea, will be presenting their accepted, peer-reviewed paper, NextGenFirstGen©- Implementing a Cultural Shift and Institutional Change Resulting in Outcomes that Matter at the Consortium for Student Retention Data Exchange's 12th Annual National Symposium on Student Retention in Norfolk, Virginia in November, 2016. The paper takes readers through the process Drs. Aquino Sosa and Pascua Dea underwent from October, 2013 through December, 2015 to transform the College's signature retention and graduation program for first generation and/or low income college students, the High Potential Program.
The Consortium for Student Retention Data Exchange at the University of Oklahoma is a consortium of two-year and four-year institutions dedicated to achieving the highest levels of student success through collaboratively sharing data, knowledge, and innovation.
