The application process for current Saint Mary's students is always open. Applications are accepted and processed on a rolling basis.

Undergraduate students at Saint Mary's College or students who are accepted for enrollment in the next academic term are invited to apply to the High Potential Program. All applicants must be a first-generation college student. The Federal TRIO Program defines a first-generation college student as: "An individual both of whose parents did not complete a baccalaureate degree; or in the case of any individual who regularly resided with and received support from only one parent, an individual whose only such parent did not complete a baccalaureate degree."

Priority is be given to applicants who also qualify as low-income according to the TRIO/SSS Federal guidelines, and/or have a disability.

Current HP students should use the form below to apply to the High Potential Program. Admitted students who have not begun their coursework at Saint Mary’s should not utilize this form. Admitted students who have not yet begun their studies at Saint Mary's may apply on February 1, 2024 through their admissions portal. Please allow thirty minutes to complete the application. You will need access to financial information and parent/guardian education level. There are fill-in, multiple choice, and short response questions.
