About
Día de los Muertos is a treasured Mexican tradition where we honor our ancestors with offerings, food, altars, and community gatherings, celebrating their significant influence on our lives. Our upcoming fundraising event will support Baile Folklórico Guadalupano in purchasing costumes and attending conferences focused on Mexican folklórico dance, thereby enhancing the dancers' knowledge and skills in this vibrant art form. We encourage you to bring a photograph of a deceased loved one to place on the altar during the event as a special tribute.

Please purchase your tickets in advance for the show and dinner, as we anticipate a sellout event!
Tickets for the 7 PM show are priced as follows:
- $5 for SMC students
- $15 for general admission, faculty, staff, and non-SMC students of any age (from preschool to graduate students)
- $15 ADDITIONAL Ticket for dinner: Birria, rice, and beans. ARRIVE BY 5:30PM FOR DINNER!

Parking is limited in the visitor lot at the Soda Center, as well as in the lots located across the street and behind the Soda Center. Please follow the instructions on the signs to text for a parking pass to avoid being ticketed (text "PAY" to 77447 and indicate the lot # as "SMC" when prompted). Parking passes are only 50 cents per hour, and the show is expected to be approximately 3 hours including intermission.
