About

This fresh, immersive museum experience, limited to groups of 10, is ideal for those looking to get to know others and hone their Seminar discussion skills in an informal, supportive environment. The discussion will focus on two print series from a traveling exhibition of 31 graphics prints by renowned American artist Jacob Lawrence (1917-2000). Grappling with historical and everyday injustices, Lawrence responded with the series The Life of Toussaint L’Ouverture and Hiroshima, both created in the 1980s and 1990s. Sign up early as space is limited.

With Claude Malary and Lisa Manter (The Life of Toussaint L’Ouverture)
Related Seminar texts: Rousseau, Wollstonecraft, Douglass (Sem 103)
