César "CJ" Baldelomar: "Latinos for Trump? Neglected Voices and the Remaking of Identities in US Latinx Theology"

A lecture in the "Doing Theology Latinamente" Speaker Series

The Theology & Religious Studies Department is pleased to welcome Prof. CJ Baldelomar of Mt. Holyoke College and Boston College, who will address how Latinx support for Trump in his Presidential run complicates popular notions of Latinx identities and religious/political affiliations. Specifically, the lecture will reflect on Prof. Baldelomar's recent experiences at an overwhelmingly Latino Trump rally in his hometown.
