Tamara Spencer, assistant professor in the Teacher Education Department (Multiple Subject Program) and the Teachers for Tomorrow program director published “Don’t Say 'Your Child Can’t Read'” in Edutopia, the online education magazine.
Spencer also recently took the reins of the innovative master's program, Teachers for Tomorrow, now in its 18th year. The new director wants to expand the program's impact on the Bay Area and the lives of young children.
